Organisation

The Regional Council of Central Finland is a statutory municipal authority in Central Finland. Our organisation consists of five bodies, each with its own role:

• Regional Council of Central Finland’s office: 27 employees  

• Municipal Council: 22 municipalities 

• Regional Assembly: 58 members 

• Regional Executive Board: 13 members 

• Audit Committee: 5 members 

The staff of our office is responsible for the practical implementation.

We work closely both on a national and international scale with institutions, municipalities, companies, associations, other development organisations, and ministries in Central Finland.
